Project Example: Ten Mile Church, Meridian ID
Budget: $10,000
Project Scope: Ten Mile Church was in the final phase of construction for their new building. They wanted to create a dynamic children's area for both birth - pre-K and elementary age children. Due to construction costs they had a limited amount of funds they could dedicate to creating a theme for their children's ministry. Working with Ten Mile Church, Creative For Kids designed a KidsTown concept for their entire children's ministry. CFK then created a paint-by-number system so that their volunteers could paint all the base coats for the theme. Once the volunteer painting was complete, CFK arrived on site to clean up the volunteer painting and airbrush the details throughout the children's area. The result, an amazing themed environment at a fraction of the cost of full service onsite design.
Here is how the process worked:
Creative For Kids:
- Worked with the client to create a compelling theme for each class room
- Developed a concept with sketches that the client approved
- Created a paint-by-number color system for volunteers to work from
Ten Mile Church:
- Sketched the scale drawings on to the walls of the children's area for volunteers to paint
- Using the easy CFK paint-by-number system, the volunteers painted the basics on the walls
Creative for Kids:
- Arrived at Ten Mile Church and cleaned up the volunteer painting
- Airbrushed details to create a dynamic professional look and feel
