Architectural ServicesAre you looking to redesign an area of your children's ministry or add an addition to it? Is your church ready to design a new facility from start to finish? Creative For Kids in partnership with Jeffrey Parker Architects empowers you to do just that. Founded in 1983, Jeffrey Parker Architects is a full service architectural and engineering firm that specializes in churches – including children’s ministry centers.  They strive to maximize the ministry effectiveness and potential of churches – by equipping them with facilities that are purpose-driven, culturally-relevant, attractive, technologically-rich and affordable.  Their team of architects excel at creative, out-of-the-box thinking.

Facility and Financial Planning for your Church’s Vision
In the process of working with churches, they regularly:  1) shoulder responsibility for overall church building programs, helping pastors to stay stress-free and focused on ministry;  2) integrate cutting-edge products and technology into church facilities, such as the themed wall murals produced by Creative for Kids;  3) develop multi-faceted financial plans that fund church building projects – which typically include capital gifts funds, conventional financing, cash and equity, and;  4) endow churches with excellence, predictability and spiritually-enriching experiences.  Our services include:
• Project Management of Overall Building Programs
We shoulder responsibility for the overall church building program, keeping pastors stress-free and focused on ministry.  Our process coordinates capital gifts consultants, banks, contractors, specialty church consultants (such as Creative for Kids) and technology consultants.
• Cost Management
Building programs have to respect the financial limitations of churches.  As a result, we help determine their financial plans, which typically include:  1) funds from capital gift campaigns;  2) long term debt (borrowed money);  3) cash (from savings) and;  4) equity (from the sale of any existing buildings and/or property).  And then to complement these financial plans, we carefully monitor the anticipated cost of projects – by preparing detailed, all-inclusive construction cost estimates.
• Ministry Needs Assessments
To familiarize ourselves with your particular ministries, programs and needs, we meet with church staff and lay leaders.  We then translate your ministry needs into facility needs, using spreadsheets that outline your interior and exterior space needs.  These spreadsheets describe well-proportioned, balanced buildings – by projecting an appropriate attendance and room size for each area of ministry.
• Feasibility Studies
If you are unsure whether to relocate, renovate or add on, then these studies are for you.  They will equip you with factual, insightful data and recommendations to help guide your decision.  Feasibility studies often include research of building codes and zoning ordinances; evaluations of existing buildings and parcels of property; ministry needs assessments; conceptual design work; cost analysis; and recommendations.
• Existing Building and Site Analysis
These analyses explore the condition, shortcomings, opportunities and limitations of existing buildings and property.
• Church Master Planning
We develop comprehensive church master plans to be good stewards of your existing land and facilities, and to allow your church campus to grow as your needs and congregation grow.  These plans provide a roadmap for growth – using affordable building phases.  They are also flexible enough to be changed.
• Architectural Design and Engineering
Our services include architectural design and the preparation of construction drawings – for new buildings, additions, remodeling and conversions alike.  And in the process, we meet deadlines, provide quality across multiple disciplines and put your needs first.  We also integrate special products and technology into designs and construction drawings, such as themed wall murals, child security and child check-in/ check-out processes.
• Construction Administration
During construction, we make jobsite visits to verify compliance with the construction drawings, interact with the building inspector, facilitate regularly scheduled progress meetings, review pay requests from the contractor and resolve construction-related issues.
• Interior Design
To maximize your building’s “wow” factor, we creatively design your interior spaces to match your ministry’s personality.  Our interior design work includes space planning;  selecting furnishings, colors and materials;  and designing signs and graphics.
• Site Planning
We strive to attractively, efficiently and optimally fit your church campus to your property.  To do so, we plan for on-site parking, drop-off areas, vehicular circulation and street access;  terrain, site drainage, zoning ordinances and utilities;  and visibility, views and landscaping.  We also help obtain site plan approval, re-zoning and variances, as well as provide site selection assistance.
• Sustainable Design
We practice green architecture.  By implementing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) criteria, we can integrate sustainable design principles into high performance building projects.
