Each clip art image is created at 300 dpi at 500 pixels maximum in height or width. This size and scale with meet 90% of printing and visual viewing needs. Because it is created in .jpeg, .gif, and .png it is not editable, and can only be scaled smaller in size to maintain clairity. So to recap:

- Capable of a transparent background
- Max. 256 colors

- Can have slight jagged edges
PNG (.png) Portable Network Graphics
- Good for both print and web use
- Great colors
- Typically smaller file size compared to .jpg or .gif
- Transparent background WITHOUT jagged edges
